Underground launched a new store in Soho last week, featuring an exclusive collaboration with CASETTE PLAYA stylist Carri Munden and playing host to bands like oddball electro-rockers Is Tropical. Wonderland took a gander down Berwick Street to do a little bit of shoe shopping.

Apparently British soldiers in World War II used to wear hard-wearing crepe-soled shoes in North Africa, all to beat off the desert sands.
