Last weekend saw the official opening of the first Rugby Ralph Lauren store in Europe opening in London’s Covent Garden. To celebrate the arrival of this new destination for preppy-chic, the brand held a special launch party within the store on Monday evening.

The complete Rugby collection is housed over two floors in a period conversion just beside Covent Garden’s world famous piazza and includes a “Make Your Own” section where items can be customised with fabric initials, numbers and emblems to make purchases truly unique. On hand for the launch on Monday were new band, Flats & Sharps, discovered by the Rugby Ralph Lauren team, dressed in Rugby for the evening whilst they performed to the crowds.
