Your Saturday night starts right here!

This week see’s X Factor graduates Little Mix debut their second album under Simon Cowell’s SYCO label. Salute is a perfect mix of 90’s club pop and R&B. With a slightly matured sound and lots more attitude, it’s easy to see that the girls have gone away and thought about the direction in which they want their music to go. Much like their pop rivals One Direction, Little Mix look likely to conquer the US and deservedly so. We met up with girls a few weeks ago in East London and took some pictures to confirm that Tulisas’s ‘lil muffins’ are all grown-up.

In the wake of the most recently aired bit of dirty laundry to hit the interwebs, and the question of whether or not the “intimate moment” shared by Tulisa and ex boyfriend MC Ultra would tarnish the squeaky clean image the N Dubz singer and X-Factor judge had been trying to garnish, the 24 year old singer found that, in fact, the world prefers a bit of dirt. How do we know this? FHM placed her at the very top of their sexiest women of 2012 list today. So in timely spirit, Wonderland offer up five success after sex tape stories.

(1) Kim Kardashian

Having hijacked the term “bootylicious” from Beyonce herself, reality TV star and Kanye West’s baby momma shot to the top of most ogled and most Googled celebrity lists following the release of a sex tape with R&B crooner (and Brandy’s little brother) Ray J. Star of reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which has spawned six seasons and an average of 3.11 million viewers as well as clothing line D-A-S-H, Kim is now the subject of a cult following that’s pretty frighteningly intense. And with an abundance of songs written in her honour (including one by current beau Kanye), and one dedicated to her backside – along with her own attempt at stepping into the musical domain with Jam (Turn It Up), Kim K’s story seems to involve nothing but success.

(2) Paris Hilton

Famous for being famous, Hilton Hotel heiress Paris upgraded her brand of celebrity following a leaked sex tape that saw her and ex boyfriend Rick Solomon in what was aptly entitled One Night In Paris. Despite the spotlight having dimmed on her in most recent years, her accolades include actress (she appeared in a host of films and TV shows including House Of Wax), reality TV star, That Simple Life producer alongside Nicole Ritchie, and a bunch of self titled shows like Paris Hilton’s My New BFF and the most recent The World According to Paris. Not to forget her stint at the whole singing thing. Seems we’ve had a lot more than just one night in Paris’s world.

Pamela Anderson's Nude Swimming Scene in Sex Tape
(3) Pamela Anderson

Having appeared in Playboy and Baywatch before her obligatory sex tape scandal – when tapes of her and husband Tommy Lee were stolen and unleashed on the internet – Pamela Anderson was arguably already someone before she really became someone. She was even chosen as Playmate of the Month in February of 1990. But further proof that sex tapes seemingly make the road to success smoother, Pamela’s career continued to flourish following its release, appearing on the cover of GQ, Stuff and other typically drool worthy publications.

Former WWE Wrestler Joanie Laurer, or Chyna, in Her Porno Premiere

(4) Chyna (Joan “Joanie” Laurer)

Former WWE wrestler Chyna unleashed her own sex tape a few years ago in an effort to relaunch her porn career. Entitled Backdoor To Chyna (no imagination required as to figure out why). She has since appeared in Playboy magazine twice, as well as numerous television shows like The Surreal Life: Fame Games and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

(5) Tulisa

The latest celeb to benefit from a leaking of private parts all over the internet is X Factor judge and N Dubz singer Tulisa. A member of one of the UK’s biggest music groups – with two platinum selling albums – Tulisa’s rise to becoming a household name has recently been facilitated with the leaking of said sex tape. Having trended on Twitter multiple times and most recently voted top of FHM’s sexiest women of 2012 list after her sex tape was leaked, it’s no wonder Tulisa’s gained far more than she’s lost with her video.

As a former contestant on The X Factor, Olly Murs knows better than most what it is like to perform on that famous stage. As a result, Murs became an inspired choice to present ITV2’s sister show The Xtra Factor this year where – alongside co-presenter Caroline Flack – he delivers irreverent humour, interviews the contestants and provides behind the scenes news. But let’s not forget the reason he appeared on The X Factor in the first place – to make himself a music star. Originally a runner up on the show, he today releases his second album “In Case You Didn’t Know” which has already produced chart topping single “Heart Skips A Beat” (with Rizzle Kicks) and “Dance With Me Tonight” which just missed out on the top spot. We caught up with the double platinum selling Essex lad to discuss his album hopes, single life and crazy fans.

Describe your music in five words
Feel good, cheeky, easy listening

What makes your heart skip a beat?
Seeing a hot girl naked. That makes my heart skip a beat.

For your new album you’ve co-written a lot of your tracks – how was that?
I wrote 10 of the 12 on the first album [the self titled “Olly Murs” released November last year] so that was already under my belt. It was great to get lyrics and stories down and find hits – and I’ve been lucky enough to find a few already on this second album.

How do you feel you’ve developed as an artist over the last year?
I’m just more experienced. Before I did The X Factor I had no experience at all so I’ve really learnt a lot over the last two years and really got to grips with the industry and what I want to do musically. With the writing sessions I got my head down and concentrated on what I want to do and have got my music going in the direction I want it to.

In terms of your career, will the music always come first or do you see yourself as a TV presenter now?
I’m an entertainer and a singer and that’s my main job. I’ve delved into new things – TV presenting – but music is what I want to be taken seriously for.

Did you have concerns that the TV presenting could detract from your music?
Definitely but I think the proof is in the pudding, really. I’ve had success with the singles from the second album and I’ve got to express my personality [on the show]. I think people are liking the show and liking me and hopefully they like the music. So it’s a good balance.

Caroline has been under personal attack – receiving death threats on twitter – from One Direction fans incensed by tabloid speculation that she is dating band member Harry Styles – but which member of One Direction are you dating?
[laughs] They are boys! I’m a woman’s man. I like women.

In seriousness though, how do you feel about Caroline receiving death threats? Are you protective of her?
Caroline is one of my best friends. I always say what goes on behind closed doors is her business and no one elses. We work very closely together and, you know, she’s had a tough time of it lately but obviously the papers will write what they want to write and people don’t know the full story but people tend to believe what they read in the papers.

According to the tabloids last week you have apparently been giving Harry advice on how to woo Caroline – do you want those death threats to be followed out so you can be the sole presenter of The Xtra Factor?
Not at all! Caroline and I get on really well and the show is going really well so it’s all great. Again, it’s a story that was pretty much put together. I said Harry was ping-ing me saying he really fancied Caroline and that was all, but they’ve made it out that I set the guys up which is a load of rubbish.

Have you had any crazy fan experiences?
I’ve had a car chase through Manchester where some fans were chasing me in a car when I was with my parents in a taxi and there was this one experience when a girl walked into my room as I opened it and she sat on my bed and I was like “what are you doing?” and she said that it was her room. But it clearly wasn’t because I’d just opened the door with my key. That was quite weird. But my fans are not that crazy. They are great.

Are you are still single?
Yes. But it’s fine. My career comes first and I’m not hooked up on getting a girlfriend at the moment and I’m happy with how things are going musically and on TV.

Would you want to date a fellow celebrity?
You never know. Obviously the benefits if you meet someone in this industry are that they know roughly what you’re going through and the pressures you go through. But if you meet someone not from the industry then there is a benefit there too as you can keep it much more private. There is a catch 22, really.

Who would you rather Snog, Marry or Avoid between your co-host Caroline and X Factor judges Kelly Rowland and Tulisa?
I would avoid Tulisa because of Dappy and Fazer – I’d be scared of them. I would marry Caroline because we get on so well and I would definitely snog Kelly.

With your duties as an Xtra Factor presenter and with promotional work with your album, are you finding any free time currently?
It is literally work every day – but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’d rather be busy than quiet. I’ve really worked hard this year from January and I have a busy 2012 lined up as well but I have a few weeks off coming up which will be nice as I’ve been working as hard as I can.

In Case You Didn’t Know by Olly Murs is out today on Epic/Sony Music. Murs will be on tour in 2012 and ticket details can be found at ollymurs.com

Forget everything you think you know about Cher Lloyd, the pint-sized starlet from Malvern, Worcestershire, who, out of nowhere, introduced Soulja Boy and swagger to The X Factor last year. Forget the ripped jeans and asymmetric haircuts; forget the Cheryl Cole comparisons; forget the tabloid sniping and gipsy jibes on Twitter. Because despite all the bullshit – and believe us, there’s been a lot – Cher seems to be turning into a world-class pop star, of the sort that seldom comes from TV talent shows.

Though she’s currently in the UK to take part in The X Factor tour, (“I love doing it. I’d do it all day if I could”), she’s spent much of her time in LA recently, getting to know some of the industry’s big boys. Her producer, RedOne (Lady Gaga’s best studio buddy), is so convinced of her talent that he’s asked to join her on tour in order to continue working with her. Savan Kotecha, the songwriter responsible for a string of hits by Britney, JLS and Usher, who’s also co-writing with Cher, says she’s “impressed the biggest writers and producers in the world”. In the run up to her interview with Wonderland, we of course had a look through Cher’s Twitter feed and noted that not only was she being courted by pop tastemaker Perez Hilton, but she’s also been hanging out with in the studio with Lil’ Wayne. This kind of thing never happened to Leon Jackson. It was obvious that Cher was special from her first audition, where she decided to perform a remix of Soulja Boy’s “Turn My Swag On”. (The following week the obscure track leapt up the UK charts – more than 14 million people have now watched the audition on YouTube.) She calls her music “Swag Pop,” but that doesn’t even come close to describing the furious energy of what she’s been working on. Yes, she’s still rapping, faster and more aggressively, and she’s fed in a lot of urban influences but it’s all got a kind of ingenious, princessy pop edge. “I like to show every single side of me,” she says, huddled in her manager’s jacket as she smokes outside the studios. “It’s complicated, but The X Factor was the best time of my life,” she says.

Are you happy with life at the moment?

Well, when I was about 15, I begged my mum to pay for a photoshoot. She never had the funding to take me to go and get a portfolio done, so I never got it done. And today I’ve done a photoshoot, just like that, because I’ve been asked to do it.

The red hair suits you – why did you decide to get it?

I wanted something that would sort of represent me, that’s fiery and outgoing. So I thought a bit of a red would do me good. I want to get my nose pierced too. I might try a fake one and see how it goes.

You seem to be having fun playing with your image.

I want to go for something completely different. I’d just like people to see me as me. What’s the point in comparing?

There’s lots of different moods on the album, but is it an R’n’B sound generally? How would you define “Swag Pop” to us?

It will work in the clubs. It’s feel-good music, I think. It just signifies everything I’m about.

Who has been your favourite collaborator so far?
I love RedOne. He made me feel like I was part of a family. And I have so much respect for him. He just wanted to make good music, and that’s it.

Where do you want to be in a year’s time?
I want to be able to say that I made No 1. No matter how hard it’s gonna be for me, as long as I get my number one I’ll be the happiest person alive.

What’s one rumour about you that’s really pissed you off?
Just crappy stuff about relationships, boys. But I’ve never been deeply in love with someone.

You’re 18 in a couple of months – what are you doing?
I’m cooking up a really nice party. Here. I may have a birthday week. So I’ll have a party and take a few friends to some deserted place where nobody can find us. What’s one thing that you think people don’t know about you? Well, I’m just a normal 17-year-old girl and I do have major feelings. Sometimes things that people say do really affect me, whether it’s about the way I look, or the way that I’m acting. It can get me really stressed out. And it’s like, give me a little break. A week of somebody being nice to me would be lovely. That’s the thing that I want to get across. And it’s about my music, and I can’t wait for people to hear it.
