Paris Fashion Week: Moncler Gamme Rouge

Sitting on a red bus and traveling down Oxford Street, this week, I counted eight people wearing the a distinctive Moncler quilted jacket. And they don’t come cheap. This may explain the big production shows they have put on this season, a few weeks ago we had the impressive menswear show, and now the womenswear.
I’m gonna wear those googles to Selfridges next winter.

Turning the catwalk into theatre is just one legacy McQueen left behind: it is something he did so well - much to the ‘audiences’s’ delight.

Now designers are not always content with simply sending models up-and-down a catwalk.

Moncler is one example of a big-production catwalk show. And How amazing does it look!?

Moncler Gamme Bleu

Moncler’s second Milan Menswear presentation took place in the novel location of a swimming pool ‘Moncler Gamme Bleu’. They describe the collection as: ‘Moncler luxury sport style meets Thom Browne’s classical avant-garde approach. Models walked out in hooded white capes and, while some disrobed to take a plunge in the pool others peeled back the cloaks to reveal the summer sports-inspired pieces - walking the circumference of the pool, which turned into an impromptu catwalk.
