CARNABY LEE

Lee store re-launch party

Last week saw the opening of a refreshed Lee store on London’s Carnaby street.  Celebrity DJs included Matthew Horne and the wonderful Bombay Bicycle Club (above) who spun tracks at the denim store.  Revelers were careful not to spill beer and/or cocktails over the collection of clothing on the shelves and hangers ahead of being open to the public.

More Denim from Lee

As we are having a bit of a denim day - here is some more!

On-going from this spring Lee is bringing back its past: working with original design features of the original 5-pocket pant from the Forties.

It is always a good move for companies to stick to what they are good at and their heritage. But saying that, Lee will be announcing a collaboration with a fashion designer v soon.

WILD WESTERNER

Collectors of denim might want to log onto oki-ni.com to get their hands on some rare Lee Origianls SS10 from The Archieve line from the classic denim makers.  Available in the four colours: tan, ecru, khaki and black, the Lee Westerners collection are given a dressier look than your regular jeans due to the way they are constructed - with silk satin and threads mostly on one side of the fabric - mean you can dress up even when dressing down.
