G-Star’s new A/W 2010 model is Magnus Carlsen - the number 1 chess player in the world, and the youngest ever to achieve this accolade.

In September G-Star will host a global chess competition in New York and anyone is invited to play Magnus live on the internet: this will be done by 3 Chess Grandmasters Maxime Vachier-Lagrave from France, Hikaru Nakamura from the United States and Judit Polgár from Hungary suggesting a move each to the registered public. The public can vote online for their favourite move to be played against Magnus.
