The wait is over! Following months of speculation, we officially have a final list of the talents who will be stepping into heroic shoes for the new adaptation of Marvel’s The Fantastic Four. Beating out the likes of John Krasinski, Adam Driver, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Matt Smith, internet’s favourite heartthrob Pedro Pascal has scored the role of Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic. Vanessa Kirby joins the crew as Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach is set to portray Ben Grimm, the Thing, and Stranger Things’ star Joseph Quinn will play Johnny Storm, the Human Torch.

And now, Inventing Anna star Julia Garner is also joining the film, reportedly set to play Shalla-Bal, a version of Silver Surfer from the comics. Production will begin this summer, and the movie will be in theatres in July 2025. Matt Shakman signs off as the film’s director, with a script by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer.
