Don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cr—okay we’re crying just a bit. Euphoria has officially paused its production for Season Three, supposedly to allow time for creator Sam Levinson to rewrite the scripts and think about the direction of the show. All we know for now is that Barbie Ferreira won’t be returning as Kat, and that if the rumours are true, we’ll be following the rest of the characters on their journeys outside of high school. As Levinson figures out who our favourite teens will grow into, where they’ll be, and how to achieve the challenging task of growing a high school-centred series out of the hallways, cast members such as Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi have been given permission to work on other productions. Sigh. Good things come to those who wait, right?
