PINK SKIES

The psychedelic indie artist drops eclectic and enigmatic new deluxe version of the 2023 project.

Born and bred in the Bay Area, artist Pink Skies, also known as Arieh Berl, kickstarted his musical journey by diving headfirst into the burgeoning local music scene. With a reputation for crafting a distinctive and boundary-pushing sound, Arieh found his niche within the indie and punk circles, refining his skills along the way. Under the alias mPink Skies, Arieh has dropped four albums to date, each experimenting in psychedelic, indie sonic realms. To date, Pink Skies’ sound has garnered a devoted fanbase, and resulted in collaborations with industry heavyweights like 6LACK, Khalid, and Saint JHN.

Last summer, Pink Skies released “The Tree That Broke The Cement,” a truly original and captivating project that seamlessly toes the line between experimental artistry and mainstream appeal. The album is packed with infectious grooves, from the synth-driven anthem “Thinking About Stuff” to the pulsating percussion of its title track, “Cocoons.” Throughout the project, Pink Skies’ enigmatic vocals add a charming layer, effortlessly blending the exploratory elements with the accessible allure of traditional synth-pop.

Now, Pink Skies is back with a highly anticipated deluxe edition, building upon his previous work to offer a rich, multi-layered experience. This latest release showcases his exceptional creativity and unique psychedelic sound, featuring four brand new tracks, including a remix of “Reality/Nostalgia” featuring future ex-boyfriend.
