Emerging into adolescence with a distinct perspective, Florida-born Cloe Wilder brings forth a singular vision characterised by a rustic sonic palette, a soft vocal timbre, and evocative narratives. Resonant with the essence of country-pop, Cloe crafts clever yet personal verses that capture dreamy memories of locations, home, and inner emotions.

Following her folk pop-leaning tracks, ‘Super 8’ and ‘House by the Water’, Cloe has dropped fun, evocative new visuals for her sentimental track ‘Fake ID’. The video, directed by talented creator, Jesse DeFlorio, offers a wistful visual insight into Cloe’s teenage years, a perfect accompaniment to the track where Cloe’s signature breathy vocals and sincere lyricism shines. It’s a perfect addition to her discography, offering a sensitive gaze back in time whilst setting a platform for the rest of 2024.

Speaking on the visuals, Cloe says “I knew that I wanted the ‘Fake ID’ music video to be a little unhinged, while still relating to myself. Jesse DeFlorio directed it and I think we got exactly that. I haven’t been arrested, but I have been questioned by multiple bouncers!”

And on the track’s narrative, she goes on to say “When I turned 17, I thought it was time to get a fake ID. It was my only ever act of rebellion. I wanted to write a little story around it. For the most part, it’s a real thing that ended up happening in my life, but I think the whole song more represents my timeline of being 17.”
