Singer, songwriter, actress and vocal coach, Alisan Porter has blazed a trail during her career, co-producing albums with Grammy Award-winner, Matt Rollings and collaborations with fellow luminaries, Adam Lambert, and Greg Wells. Her powerful and soulful voice has gathered accolades including a champion of Season 10 of “The Voice” and as a vocal coach, Alisan continues to nurture and inspire young talent. Now, following the soulful single “Meant for Me” late last year, Alisan has once again graced the mic to deliver us a sparkling new track with “See in the Dark”.

Touching on the track’s themes, Alisan comments “’See in the Dark’ is a coming of age. It’s about learning to love without co-dependency or enmeshment. It’s about learning to lean into healthy love and releasing expectations of perfection for fantasy and learning to love what is.”

Directed by Lee Cherry, the visuals for “See in the Dark” sets Alisan against a series of rural farmhouses and landscapes; all set against the track’s melodious acoustic backdrop of twangy guitars and Alisan’s passionate and ardent vocals. Together, the pair perfectly embody the authenticity of a relationship, creating a relatable and nostalgic atmosphere through its heartfelt lyrics and distinctive visual palette.
