Jeymes Samuel’s Biblical comedy epic, The Book of Clarence, is hitting theatres today. Along with the highly anticipated storyline, where Samuel takes us back to Jerusalem in a fresh offering on Jesus’ story, and the celebrated cast featuring LaKeith Stanfield, RJ Cyler, and Omar Sy, the film’s soundtrack is generating a *significant* buzz.
Samuel is also the big name behind the musical story in the film, partnering with industry heavyweights including Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Doja Cat, and… Jay-Z on the exclusive soundtrack. “I Want You Forever,” the track signed by Jay-Z, who is also the film’s executive producer, was a collaboration with D’Angelo and is a nine-and-a-half-minute-long piece.
