BAPE × BORED APE YACHT CLUB

A BATHING APE link up with Bored Ape Yacht Club for an irreverent new collection.

2023 has been a wildly unpredictable year for fashion collaborations and the latest of which sees the Web3 company behind Bored Ape Yacht Club, Yuga Labs, partner up with cultural streetwear icon, A BATHING APE®. The collection sees the two now-iconic primate mascots – Curtis the Ape and BABY MILO® – playfully mixed on a collection of items that have become signatures to the Japanese brand including classic tees, hats and an exuberant Curtis rug rocking Bored Ape’s well-recognised sailor hat.

A standout item is a remix on the classic BAPE STA® which features a clear, ice rubber sole and an undersole showing Curtis.

“This collection is reminiscent of a time where collecting streetwear was about being in the know, ahead of the curve” explains Michael Ghory, VP of Apparel at Yuga Labs. “It offers our communities a twist on the classic designs from BAPE®’s vault, in extremely limited quantities, so apes are guaranteed to always stay unique.”

Originally launched as an exclusive at ApeFest and online, the collection is now available via BAPE STOREs and BAPE.COM globally.
