Nashville-based rock back, The Wans, deliver their highly-anticipated fourth LP Magical Touch, an 11 track project bursting with fresh new sounds and captivating lyricism. With two new additions to the band, Akshay Narang and Noah Denney, this LP is returning to the scene with pure sonic greatness.

Speaking on the upcoming project, lead singer Simon Kerr tells us, “This record feels like my novella, a journey similar to Steinbecks ‘East of Eden’. It took 4 years to write and a week to record. My dad, Tony Kerr, has been my main songwriting partner since I was 16. Some Father-Son’s bond over fishing, but we bond over writing songs. It’s become effortless when we write together.”

The Wans have always shared a brotherhood and love for producing rock n’ roll music. Lyrically, this record purposefully radiates self-awareness, love, and togetherness. The band’s exciting new additions along with their refreshed take on their classical, retro sound is a truly invigorating listening experience and is crafted so poetically by each and every member.

2023 is looking exceptionally bright for The Wans and we can’t wait to see their sound travel leaps and bounds throughout the rock n’ roll scene. The band will be celebrating their album at a release show on July 28 at Basement East.
