Meet Logan Avidan – our latest pop obsession. Merging sensibilities of pop, rock and grunge into a sound that feels natural and seamless, the New York-based singer-songwriter is the latest promising star to emerge from the city. Authentic and personal, Avidan’s writing stands out from the masses, with news of a debut album music to our ears – quite literally.

The first teaser into the forthcoming LP comes in the shape of “Left My Heart”, a sweet and serendipitous pop banger that leaves us excited for what’s to come from the newcomer. The initial idea for the song came to Avidan mid flight, with the singer voice-noting the initial motif before linking up with her co-writer and producer John Eatherly who helped bring the enjoyable cut to life. Ethereal yet poignant, the single is broad and dazzling, with Avidan flaunting her vocal chops and measured songwriting prowess.

Adding further insight into the single, Avidan offers, “”Left My Heart” is about not putting limits on yourself,” she says. “No matter what situation you are in in your life, the only way to make a change or achieve something will come from taking risks and leaving your comfort zone. Diving into all possibilities. Everyone seems to be concerned about the ‘right’ timing, the ‘right’ way, the ‘right’ thing to do. Letting go of these worries and going all in will make you feel the most free. It’s about leaving that heavy weight behind and taking that risk.”
