Fourth Daughter, aka Emily Atkinson, isn’t slowing down any time soon with stellar new single “Take The Fall”, an edgy, introspective take on the anxiety that comes with truly finding your self confidence.

In tune with the title, the track takes the listener on a flight of a wavering emotions. Starting out light and airy with a breeze of percussion, to steadily building up altitude as she approaches the chorus, which eventually plunges into a melodic fall.

From dark, rumbling synths that feel equal parts uneasy and cathartic, to a hypnotic and haunting dance track that carries with it layers of important meaning, this track really is an outstanding masterpiece.

Fourth Daughter is turning heads and pricking ears since stepping into the scene at the beginning of the pandemic, with the likes of BBC Radio Scotland crowning her as one of the Artists To Watch in 2020. Most recently, “Say What You Want” received playlist support from Apple and Amazon, and cracked the top 10 of the prestigious Hype Machine Popular Chart.
