SHOPPING… at 777
Community-minded London streetwear brand 777 has captured my shopping desires (and heart) in recent weeks as they opened their flagship store on Camden High Street, following various London pop-ups. Their valiant mission to offer the most affordable streetwear in the capital has been crystallised by their new permanent home in the resell and vintage mecca, where they offer new collection and rare items from brands spanning Billionaire Boys Club, Stussy, Bape and Stone Island with unthinkably lower price tags than RRP.

And yes, this may sound too good to be true, however, thanks to an array of connections with streetwear companies, skateboard teams and fashion retailers, the brand’s founder ensures that the notoriously inaccessible Streetwear shopping experience becomes a welcoming space for anyone who wants to be involved. Not only slashing the price point, but the avuncular spirit harboured in the brand has also seen free items gifted to many punters and queue-goers, larger reductions applied for customers struggling to afford the already-discounted prices, and young shoppers allowed to trade their old items in order to cop something new. They are also the continued sponsors of charity Maverick Humanity’s ‘Kindness Cart’ where they give away clothing and life-saving essentials to the homeless in a pop-up style event, their most recent one taking place this week. If that wasn’t enough, the space also acts as an elevator of burgeoning art talent, embellishing its walls with exhibitions from nascent artists. With one visit already under my belt, it’s safe to say I’ll be making a regular excursion to Camden now 777’s made it their home.

EATING… DELLI X Gizzi Erskine Negroni Pancake Sauce
Pancake day may have been and gone for another year, but the flipping will endure indefinitely in my house while I’ve got this Negroni pancake sauce to top them with. Crafted by celebrity chef Gizzi Erskine and sold on food marketplace DELLI (from Depop’s founder Simon Beckerman), gin, campari, sugar and blood orange intertwine in this sugary-sharp sauce of dreams. Gizzi also shared the creation with the world in-person at the latest DELLI pop-up sale in Brixton on Tuesday, selling pancakes adorned in the stuff for just £1, with DELLI matching sales to support fundraising efforts for Gizzi’s best friend Johnny who has a rare form of cancer that requires costly, pioneering treatment. A Negroni taste sensation if I ever did find one, so I shall be swiftly making my way to the kitchen to continue the pancake day festivities.

INDULGING… in Forest essentials’ Soundarya Night Cream With 24K Gold
I’m on bouji train this month with everything gold in my sight, starting with my new night cream that smells like a heavenly, fire-breathing, saffron-eating angel’s kiss. I usually am a withered being who barely drinks a glass of water each day, but a touch of this before bedtime and in eight hours’ time my skin behaves as if she has never met lady parchedness before. I do recommend drinking water though.

WANTING… @onkalojewellery’s rings
This Cardiff-based jewellery brand run by Nia has been ASMR for my eyes lately and all I want to do is touch and feel (and lick?) the rings she makes. If there was ever a scenario where I could ingest rings, I just know these ones would satisfy my mind, body and soul.

GOING… to Xiaoqiao’s harp concert
I’ve recently learned that when this gorgeous girly is not modelling for the likes of Rick Owens and Vivienne Westwood, she holds dreamy harp concerts in church corridors. Not long until the next one, so catch me lurking in the corners of the Old Church at St. Pancras on 8th March!
