STRANGER THINGS SEASON 4 VOLUME 2 TRAILER

The trailer for season four volume two of our favourite fantasy series is finally here, and we are already hiding behind trembling hands.

It’s only been a matter of weeks since the teaser for Stranger Things season four volume two crept onto our timelines, but now – much like the grandfather clock and its terror-stricken ticks – the full trailer has unexpectedly appeared. And, dare we say we say it, we are well and truly petrified.

With Papa’s words of warning to Eleven echoing across a pre-battle montage, he says, “your friends are not prepared for this fight” — a harrowing reminder that as the series sets up its final curtain, there is no longer a need to keep its main stars alive. Plunging us straight back into the barren, blood-red realm of the Upside Down, the two-minute clip places us in the midst of Nancy’s hallucinations — while the likes of Steve, Eddie and Dustin pull out all the stops (and guitars) to save her. Elsewhere, Eleven is seen preparing to take on Vecna — whom Will warns will not be stopped until he has claimed every single one of them as his victims.

As Kate Bush’s emotive (and now totally iconic) soundtrack soars through the video, we watch as the entire cast pulls together to take on the Demogorgons of the Upside Down — including the formidable Mind Flayer who makes an appearance at the end. And while Robin Buckley might “have this terrible feeling it might not work out for us this time”, we are keeping everything crossed that the season will reach a somewhat satisfying close. After all, Stranger Things have happened…
