From the two-tone updo to the matching smokey eye and blinding bling, Megan Thee Stallion took no prisoners when assembling her glam for this year’s Coachella. Incorporating shades of candyfloss blue and pink, she blocks the colours together at every opportunity: sky-blue roots melt into the barbie-coloured curls of her ponytail, icy shimmer contrasts a soft and rosey shadow at the lids, and a sterling cross pendant hangs just above her matching corset top. As experimental with her looks as she is with her sound, Charli XCX is always at hand with fresh and fun ways to spice up your usual eyeshadow routine. And while basking in a sun-soaked desert, she showed us how to create a dramatic eye look with two seamless strokes. Starting with a classic cat-eye flick along the lash line, she then mimics the shape just below the brow in a neon shade of pink. Though this for most would constitute a job well done, she completes the look with a collection of small white dots at the corners. Mimicking the shape of flowers, the look radiates a Hawaiian beat that can be joyed without the excessive layering of products.

No one can pull off a beauty shot quite like Hailey Bieber and allowing us to get up close and personal to the action, she took to the ‘grid with an ocean-eyed makeup look that serves just the right dosage of Y2K flair. Dusting a dusk-blue under her waterline, she opts for a glowy base and lip — maintaining that no-makeup-makeup appeal the model is known for.

Serving face, nails, fit and drip, Storm Reid’s latest Swarovski-sponsored look bestows us with equal parts of inspiration and admiration. In multi-coloured everything, she matches her sequinned sunset top with a set of gradient pastel French tips — toeing the line between springtime sweetness and summertime glam. Yet while the cocktail rings and drop diamond earrings catch the camera’s flashing light, it is Storm Reid’s poreless skin that is at the top of our wishlists.

If mainstream glam and Y2K beats are a little too tame for your liking, Uglyworldwide can always be trusted to grace us with some show-stopping sights. On the agenda this week: rubber ducks. Proving herself to be ever the shapeshifter, her lips are sculpted with a bright tangerine gloss, while a daffodil yellow paint covers her face. Adding in some dimension with a light dust of white undereye contour, the beat is undoubtedly one that will make a splash at any given occasion.
