Knowing this, Netflix generated a storm of anticipation, as it began to reveal morsels of information regarding a Kanye West-centric show last year. And now, after months of waiting, the streaming service has revealed the teaser trailer for jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy.

Set to drop over a three-week period, the docuseries promises to give fans of the infamous rapper an intimate insight into his rise and rise to the heights of stardom. Featuring grainy home footage of a young studio-bound Ye, from which we hear the artist speaking on his genius and crafting the beats we have come to adore greatly, and present-day scenes of the artist hard at work, it becomes clear that the show will be as unfiltered as the man it sets out to follow. With “visionary filmmakers coodie & chike” stepping behind the camera to lens the journey, we are not only promised a look into the life and work of the maverick, but also artful cinematography set to induce ripples of nostalgia and captivate audiences across the globe.

Commencing on February 16th, the docuseries is shaping up to be one to remember.
