The singer-songwriter is spinning a web of punch-packing wonder on his new track.

We don’t know about you, but we reckon there’s a distinct lack of trippy visuals in the music world that nestle in between a 90s MTV set and those crazy visualiser effects you used to get on Windows Media Player as a kid. Well, there was until we chanced across Andreww’s dazzlingly dark new track, “Crossroads”, anyway.

“It’s about making a decision and sticking to it,” says the singer of the track’s hidden message. “Two things can happen: It works or you learn something but as long as you just go for it everything will be fine. Life’s too short to wait for someone to make the decision for you.” Ain’t that the truth!

The grungy single follows on from the success of recent tracks like “Talking to Myself” and “Shadow Love”, taking the form of a sonic bow that enraptures you in its web of technicolour galaxies and musical soul-searching. The singer himself brings a rhapsody of electrifying guitar playing, trap-like drumbeats and brash, vocoder-esque vocals to the mix. At first, they may seem like a completely odd blend of mismatching styles, standard to Andreww’s exploration of sound and feeling. But upon further discovery, you’ll find this concoction is actually one dynamic, punch-packing explosion of emotive bliss, devouring every morsel as if your life depended on it.

After all that, I think the only decision we’ll be making and sticking to is becoming Andreww’s biggest fans. Just try and stop us.
