Alternative or emo, whatever you call it, no one is making tunes like London’s fast-rising alt-pop star, Issermann. Having began his musical career immersed in the world of metal, training his voice for high-octane performances at any chance he could, his fast-rise on the scene has seen him tackle the most stirring and emotional of grunge tunes, whether they’re wrapped in the bass-heavy stylings of trap, or unfurling over blistering electric guitars.

Issermann’s background lies mostly in production, allowing him to patiently work his way through the music industry until finding his tribe in London, where he would embark on his first solo project – Demons. After selling out a headline show in the city, right before the pandemic hit, the singer mustered enough motivation to create video after video for the project, accruing a community of dedicated fans watching and listening out for his next move. This project is as much for him as it is for them though, a defiant middle finger to all the forces who have tried to bring him down.

To celebrate this new era, Issermann has came in swinging with a brand new video for the album’s title track. In the cinematic offering, balaclava-clad entities can be seen sprinting across sparse beaches, through fields, lounging beside the singer on a lone bed, even turning into a posse of back-up dancers when the track explodes into it’s electrifying chorus. “I’ve been fighting you my whole life,” Issermann tells his foes, “you’ve got nothing on me.”
