It’s all about comfort and style. With more than 120 years of craftsmanship behind them, Swedish shirting heritage brand Stenstroms unveils its latest offer for next spring and unsurprisingly the focus is on ‘casual cool’.
Given the year we have all just had, the focus is on looking stylish at home and buying better products. This latest offer from the Helsingborg brand will be music to many a man’s ears as it give effortless style, with comfort playing a major part as well as the platform to play with layering and curation of a personal style.
Materials including linen and denim feature with both becoming important fabrics for the modern-day man who likes to look stylish for Zoom meetings at home or for looking more refined and not scruffy while enjoying some downtime. “Obviously life has changed drastically over this past year and creating garments that have comfort and an organic style that doesn’t feel forced it very important for people,” says menswear designer Peter Juriado. “We still want to be ‘fashionable’ if there is such a thing, but it has to be wearable and I would also say versatile as we require so much more from our garments today.”
Clean fabrics, colours inspired by natural surroundings and a casual approach to ‘classic’ fashion; this latest season sees Stenstroms showcase a leisurely style that works for that time working from home, as well as for the office and transitioning from an earthy soft tonal colour-palette to more vibrant Cuban-inspired shades.
