Lovers of fashion, the time has finally come –– FENDI have announced that Kim Jones will be presenting his first-ever show for the esteemed house’s SS21 couture collection on Wednesday 27th January.

Jones took over as the brand’s Artistic Director of haute couture, ready-to-wear and fur collections for women back in September, following the death of the house’s resident designer and fashion heavyweight Karl Lagerfeld last year, with Silvia Venturini Fendi maintaining her role as head of FENDI’s accessories and menswear collections.

As Jones is still at the helm of DIOR Men, we can only imagine what sort of energy he’ll be bringing to the house for his Paris Couture Week offering. His past collections have seen odes to the likes of The House of Beauty and Culture’s Christopher Nemeth, fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez and even natural historian David Attenborough, with these creations donned by supermodel pals such as Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. Can you tell we’re a tad excited already?
