Harry Styles returning to acting? 2020 just got a bit brighter. Taking over from Shia LaBeouf who dropped out due to scheduling conflicts, Styles has joined the cast of Olivia Wilde’s new psychological thriller Don’t Worry, Darling, starring opposite Midsommar’s Florence Pugh. The project – which is also set to include Dakota Johnson – remains relatively quiet on the plot details, but what we do know, is that the film follows Pugh as a perfect 1950s housewife who discovers something odd about her seemingly picture-perfect life. We’re getting Stepford Wives vibes from this one…

The film is a follow-up from Wilde’s critically-acclaimed coming-of-age drama Booksmart, which saw the director collect nominations from the BAFTAs and the Golden Globes for the hilarious comedy. But with this film going down a darker path, we’re curious to see how this thriller unfolds…
