Since the world was upturned by the global pandemic, the fashion world and brands alike have been clamouring for a way to become even more accessible and relatable at a time when things can change at the drop of a hat.

One such example is Barcelona Fashion Week, aka 080 Barcelona Fashion, which, since its inception in 2007 has swiftly become a pioneer at the forefront of international collections, showcasing only the most cutting-edge designs and ideas.

And this year is no exception, with BFW pulling out all the stops to cater to a growing international, but lockdown-limited audience. From the Catalan capital to now a showroom available for all – on the agenda: apt talks from Margherita Missoni on sustainability and social responsibility, tech talks on digitalising the fashion world, but let’s not forget their dreamy offering of shows.

Back again are the vibrant and exaggerated offerings from Custo, former “Best Collection” winner Brain & Beast (red wine in satchels, toggle hats and beehives had us rapturous last year), and Mans Concept & Menswear (expect more sensual tailoring). Also look forward to the sleek and sun-soaked swimwear courtesy of All That She Loves, monochromatic sophistication of Txell Mirais, unique sustainability of Lera Mamba, eikō ai, EÑAUT, Escorpian, Guillem Rodríguez, Júlia G Escribà, Lebor Gabala, Oscarleon, Yerse, as well as many more.

Keep your eyes peeled from today over the next week…
