If there was anything right now to make us wish we were miles (and months) away from the impending doom of end-of-year British weather, it’s these images from London-based photographer Stephanie Sian Smith, titled Moonshine and Honey.

Still bottle-green waters. Bikinis (or lack of). And rushing into sun-streaked waves with friends. The project started as an organic collection of images that Smith shot while travelling in Greece – inspired by the islands and the mythology that originated in the area.

Buzzy models Lily Jean Bridger and Charlie Barker, and striking actress Lily Newmark are seen frolicking on the beach in the snaps, which has also been collated into a published zine by art director James Lee-Duffy, also featuring a dreamy narrative from Virago author Lauren Berry, based on myths and gods.

An exhibition of selected prints will accompany the launch of the zine, on December 12 at Protein Studios. Find out more here
