“its ur boy pizzagirl here, welcome to my steamy new webpage serving you the freshest slices of the pizzagirl pie!” And so starts the tongue-in-cheek description on the website of Liverpool-based singer Pizzagirl – on a deliciously 90s neon webpage with tacky Bart Simpson GIFs, no less.

You’d be right in thinking that fun is the highest order for singer Liam Brown – who goes by the moniker Pizzagirl – as jaunty riffs course through his rollicking brand of alt-pop.

And the same can be said for his latest track “body biology”, accompanied by crudely-edited visuals, which sees Brown rocking out and mooning the camera in front of a green screen in a peroxide permed wig and 80s-style suit.

“The new film for my latest punk hit “body biology” is an adventure through the crevasses and creases of the body of your very own Pizzagirl!” Explains the singer. “I shaved my hair to a crisp 0 to accentuate the truly harrowing form of my head and face! Microscopic shots of my coarse leg hair are laden throughout this masterpiece of film making and Denise (my guitar/female alter ego) makes her camera debut. I wanted you, the viewer, to get to know me and my brain even more, and if a cruise around the pores of my fleshy vessel isn’t good enough, then I don’t know what is!”
