Fashion designer and son of the ruler of the city of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, Khalid Qasimi has passed away.

The late sheik was the founder of his namesake brand Qasimi, launched in 2008, with one of his jackets gracing actor Taron Egerton in the latest issue of our sister magazine, Man About Town.

There will be three days of mourning in the city of Sharjah, and flags have been ordered to fly at half mast.
