The launch dinner for Man About Town: 2019, Chapter 1 happened in style on Wednesday night, taking place at Mayfair’s illustrious Novikov Restaurant & Bar.

Guests included Brooklyn Beckham, model Hana Cross and actor Hero Fiennes Tiffin, all of whom were treated to some of the most innovative and delicious food in London, with a menu that ranged from sumptuous chicken and morel siu mai and shitake mushroom dumplings to miso baby chicken and Padron Peppers. The undoubted highlight, however, was the Novikov duck salad, a special of the restaurant and one of the finest dishes in Mayfair.

It was not only food, however, that wowed guests; dinner was accompanied by an array of delicious cocktails such as Gin and Tonic and the old Italian favourite Negroni, made particularly excellent by the night’s official Gin provider: Horse Guards Gin London. Following the dinner, guests were able to dance the night away in the restaurant’s impressive Late Night Lounge Bar, a unique space for central London, and one that was filled with live music and DJ sets.

Aside from the exquisite dining experience, The Lounge Bar has made Novikov one of London’s classiest and most popular watering holes, and this summer will see it add a few more strings to its bow. On Friday 7th June iconic club DJ Danny Rampling will be in residence, joining a stellar line-up of those playing at the Lounge every night of the week.

For those who are partial to live music, Novikov has you covered with a brilliant a roster of performers who will be rocking the Lounge every Monday night. All of this fun will be underscored by fabulous new summer additions to the Lounge Bar’s cocktail collection – with ingredients and spices that are mainstays of the menus at Novikov’s Italian and Asian restaurants – together with an array of freshly squeezed seasonal juices, jackfruit and kumquat amongst them.

Summer’s not summer without a party of some sort, the stunning British Flag Room – where Man About Town held it’s dinner – can accommodate up to 26 guests for private dinner or up to 50 for a standing reception, providing the perfect space for a birthday party, drinks reception, or general bash, with guests able to pick from dishes off both the Asian and Italian menus.
