It’s been a while since model-turned-actor Cara Delevigne dabbled in music. Yep, the girl can sing too. After we were all well and truly shooketh by that acoustic “Sonnentanz (Sun Don’t Shine)” cover with Will Heard in the summer of 2013, rumours of a music career inevitably started to circulate online, fuelled by 2017’s release: “I Feel Everything (From “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets”)”.

Now she’s jumped on legendary producer and DJ Shy FX’s new song “Rudeboy Lovesong” along with reggae singer and DJ Sweetie Irie, a down-tempo track that layers percussion with reggae beats.

The release, which debuted on Radio 1Xtra last night, follows Shy’s “Roll The Dice” (feat. Stamina MC & Lily Allen) as the next drop from his forthcoming project “Raggamuffin SoundTape”, due on 15th March.

“Rudeboy Lovesong” ‘s video depicts the artists dazed and disorientated, trapped in a Black Mirror-esque dystopian world. “The goal was to create something unpredictable and non obvious which is a persistent theme on the SoundTape”, Shy explained: “Doing a video with a dystopian feel also fits that theme and was something I’ve wanted to do for a while. Big up Felix Brady the director who really delivered for us.”
