A BRIEF INQUIRY INTO THE 1975’S MUSIC VIDEOS

Frontman Matty Healy breaks down the visual side of their new record, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships.

“I’m sure we all think in pictures, right?” Matty Healy asks. Fresh off of scoring big at the BRITs last week, the frontman of The 1975 is now giving us an inside look into the ideas that formed the visual side of their incredible third record, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, in this exclusive VEVO video.

Rewatching the iconic music vids from this album, Matty breaks down the thoughts behind “Give Yourself A Try”, “TOOTIME”, “Love It If We Made It”, “Sincerity Is Scary” and “It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You)”.

Expect lols quotes such as “And yeah, I did pick the cool looking ones, we’re making a music video!” about how the kids in “TOOTIME” were cast, and a quick summary of some of the Easter eggs in “Sincerity Is Scary”. We also get confirmation that it is actually Matty doing that football trick in the vid, and that Ross and George are just pretending to be in slow-motion during “It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You)”. The more you know, eh?
