THE 1975 AT THE BARFLY

The biggest band in the world are playing a teeny, tiny gig tonight.

Wuu2 tonight? Maybe heading to the pub for a few drinks? Perhaps catching up on Dynasties? (Spoiler alert: it’s a sad one this week). Well, for 200 lucky fans, they’re heading to Camden Assembly – formerly known as The Barfly – in Camden for what is gearing up to be the gig of the year.

Tonight, the biggest band in the world – aka The 1975 – are teaming up with Spotify Premium and heading back to the venue that hosted their first London gig way back in 2012. “We are really looking forward to being back at the venue where we played our first London show,” frontman Matty Healy says, “it will be great to share that moment with our top listeners on Spotify Premium.”

Returning for the first time in six years, the night is in celebration of the release of their incredible third album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, which dropped on Friday (in case you’ve been living under a rock and didn’t know) and has already established itself at the top of every Album of The Year List so far.

After playing two fantastic shows at Pryzm, Kingston last week – our voices still haven’t recovered – we’re sure it’s going to be a night to remember. If any of you 200 fans have a +1, hit us up yeah?
