BTS: DREAM WIFE

I spy with my little eye, bad bitches on the set of “F.U.U.”.

Dropping the brand new video for their roaring track “F.U.U.” featuring Fever Dream today, Dream Wife have been kind enough to give us a sneak peak of what went down with a behind the scenes view from photographer Meg Lavendar. Directed by Wonderland’s own in-house creative Aidan Zamiri, the vid is full of “bad bitches” from the awe inspiring team at EVE Wrestling.

“For our new video for ‘F.U.U’ consider: ROCK AND ROLL AS AN EXTREME SPORT. A place where everyone gets a 10, there are no winners, no losers, just high adrenaline, high octane good times,” the band says. “‘F.U.U’ is a partly tongue in cheek, partly deadly serious exploration of gleeful aggression and where better to WORK OUT this aggression than in the wrestling ring? We would like to thank all of the Bad Bitches, Aidan and the Dream Team and the gang at EVE Wrestling from the bottom of our hearts, as they taught us: everyone is a wrestler, maybe they just don’t realise it yet.”

Speaking to Zamiri about the inspo for the vid, he tells us: “We were really inspired by rock vids from the noughties – bands like Green Day and Fallout Boy, and obviously Xtina’s “Dirrrty” vid. We wanted to make something that had the same kind of energy that Dream Wife bring to every live gig they do.”

“The wrestlers of EVE really matched that energy and so bringing these worlds together made something that was absolutely wild and so exciting to be part of,” he continues. “It’s a real honour to work with women that have so much strength, confidence and creativity. All of the women who worked on this made this what it was; my girlfriend Paolina did the most insane styling job I’d ever seen on this video, which was made even more incredible by Taylor-Mary Anthony and Evie Somerfield who worked on hair and makeup.”
