Maggie Gyllenhaal returns for the latest campaign.

The term “muse” is frequently thrown about to the point of no recognition, but not where AGL is concerned; the Italian brand – helmed today by the Giusti sisters, Vera, Sara and Mariana – has just launched its SS18 collection, and sees label fave Maggie Gyllenhaal returning as the face of the new campaign.

Lensed by Bryan Adams – likewise continuing his relationship with the brand – the new #AGLshoestrilogy campaign is a celebration of women “in all their glory”. Here Gyllenhaal, who has worked with the brand for several seasons, appears both confident and at ease, projecting the very make-up of AGL today; the “epitome of sophistication, motion and the avant-garde”, she represents the core values as defined by the sisters.

As for the footwear line-up, the triptych includes the Fluid mule, the Soutache ballet flat and the Tattoo sandal, each a nod to minimalist design.
