Brooklyn Beckham: What I See

The Wonderbabe lets us in behind the lens.

Didn’t plan this photo – Romeo and I were waiting to see our little sister’s ballet recital and we bought her flowers. I took this when we were waiting outside and I love it.

Having already made a mockery of his classmates’ CV’s by shooting a much discussed campaign for Burberry, Wonderland cover babe Brooklyn Beckham is now about to further up the ante with the release his first photo book, What I See.

Offering fans the opportunity to explore BB’s life behind the lens, from family holidays to Iceland to trips on Coney Island, the image series poses a unique window. “It’s pretty exciting to put my work out there and show people that I’m not just doing it because of who my parents are,” Posh and Becks first born announced of the book when he spoke to Wonderland earlier this year (here).

Citing Steven Meisel and David Sim as inspirations, What I See puts Beckham in good stead for obtaining a place to study photography at university, which is his next big ambition: “I’ve looked at a few universities [in New York]. I’ve sent off my application. I’ll see what they think and hopefully they’ll let me go!”

Get it via Penguin from 29th June.
