Launched at an event in New York, last night the British fashion house instigated the release of its latest arm candy line-up (and icon in waiting).
Taking its moniker, DK88, from the house code for the signature garbadine fabric that sits ‘at the heart of the brand’s history’, the collection boasts a reimagining of Burberry’s new Trench Leather. Embossed with a unique pattern reflecting the distinctive twill finish of cotton gabardine (the cloth Thomas Burberry patented in 1888) it’s a unique finish for leather.
