Nars’ collaborations always push the boundaries of make-up innovation; always stemming from unique ideas and with historical or bizarre references that only the brightest creative minds could conjure up. For their most recent collaboration, François Nars and fashion photographer Sarah Moon have focused on the multiple facets of femininity. After being mutually deeply inspired by iconic cinema, the team looked to the nostalgic futurism of “Metropolis”, and used the spectacular sci-fi extravaganza to inspire the blurring of the lines between real and surreal in the collection.
