Making her modelling debut at the tender age of two, it was clear from the offset that Gigi’s sunny self-assurance would make her master stroke, armed with an all-American innocence and strength of spirit. It’s no surprise Topshop have cast the Cali-girl as their new campaign star.
At the lens of acclaimed photographer Tyrone Lebon, Hadid sports new season designs as styled by Creative Director Kate Phelan. Sportswear plays preppy with tartan track tops and banded marl crops, while leathers, leopard prints and plush faux-furs take the edge off tailored lines. It’s a flair that flows in the blood it seems, born to model mother Yolanda Foster and sister to IMG-signed Bella, who starred in the Spring issue of Wonderland earlier this year. A winter campaign watched by the world’s eyes, Gigi Hadid won’t be America’s best kept secret for long – we’ll all want a piece of the pie.
