Comme des Garçons launch a new Eau de Parfum at Selfridges London Beauty Hall – FLORIENTAL.

The ‘disrupted’ floral fragrance was presented to British press, alongside the backdrop of a huge felt rose installation, by set designer Andy Hillman. “It has been a really fun project, and over the three and a half months I’ve been working on the rose, I have now finally understood when people talk about perfumes and the way the layering works and the different notes – I feel like this perfume has a very strong fruitiness. I spent a lot of time smelling the scent when I came up with the concept.

FLORIENTAL in fact has no definite top middle or base notes, so it in a way redefines the formal rules of perfumery. But some of the main ingredients include: cysts flower, (a flower with no scent), Lavdanum, sandalwood, vetiver, pink pepper and plum.

This narcotic Oriental fusion is available in 50ml and 100ml from Selfridges.
