Tourne De Transmission SS15

Taking us on a geographical, sartorial and spiritual journey, Tourne De Transmission present their new collection for SS15.

Jagged lines, monochrome print, functional details and contrasting textures – we’re talking about Tourne De Transmission‘s new collection for SS15. Priding themselves on combining “visuals and words wight he result of generating a message”, Tourne De Transmission are now in their third season.

Taking inspiration from Bauhaus and Paul Klee and their trips to North Africa in the early 20th century, the collection plays out in a series on contrasting fabric techniques, prints and cuts that take style notes from abstract impressionism, along with the artists findings on foreign shores.

Taking us on a geographical, sartorial and spiritual journey, colour is kept minimal whilst acid wash denims are representative of stone and local and ethnic camouflage. Riffinf off the idea of a contemporary wardrobe envisioned by North African Twari tribes or Turkish mountain nomads, the collection acts as a perception of western casual wear, whilst being entirely wearable in the process. Think acid wash denim, sand-hued biker jackets and buffalo leather bombers – contemporary cool the Tourne De Transmission way.
