PREMIERE: BLEACH BLOOD – “LONDON IN THE RAIN”

Hear Bleach Blood’s new track, ‘London In The Rain’ here first. Perfect for dancing your way out of bed on a Monday morning, or any morning for that matter.

Bleach Blood

Self proclaimed ‘dance-punk’ group Bleach Blood have come to rescue you from January Blues. The punk influence stems from band member Jamie Jazz’s involvement in The King Blues, whose speciality was an expert combination of raw punk edge and ska to feed the soul.

Bored of all the faceless leather jackets and pale knees poking through the ripped skinny jeans of the punk scene, Mr Jazz has moved on and released ‘London In The Rain’ with his rather more uplifting quintet. The chorus is anthemic, begging to be played to a festival crowd whilst the sun sets behind the stage, flags in the air and all the usual but necessary cliches. It’s so easy to picture thousands of people howling back the elongated notes to the band as the drums pick up the pace and send everyone into a frenzy.

Variations on pop are starting to get cool again as people search for a melody in a saturated scene of of electronic beats, house ‘anthems’ and bass wobbles, which are ideal for the weekend, but there’s five other days of the week we need a soundtrack for. Enter Bleach Blood.
