Whilst it may not sound like the most conventional description, Alice Temperley was a wash of delicate pristine pleats, perfect pastels, long lace, elongated stripes, loose-fitting layers , extravagant embellishments and cocoon sleeve coats to the sound of a pounding bass-heavy soundtrack. A contrasting aesthetic which clashed to perfection.
Day to night
Temperley’s SS15 collection was type you can’t wait to get your hands on – on every single piece that is. From regal dresses adorned in crystals and intricate beadwork, teamed with casual sports shoes to a flowing striped trouser, shirt and re-worked duster coat trio – there was something for every occasion be it day or night, before we mention the generous helping of oh-so-covetable outerwear. Think a powder pink jacquard cocoon sleeved coat, with matching skirt – to die for.
Marking Alice Temperley’s first foray into sports footwear, each look was complete with a pair of trainers. If Alice says we can wear trainers and ball dresses, then that’s what we’re going to do.
