Louis Vuitton open their first ephemeral store at the iconic Dover Street Market showcasing Nicolas Ghesquière’s AW14 collection

Last Friday marked the day that Louis Vuitton opened its first ephemeral store at the iconic London concept location, Dover Street Market.

Taking prime position on the first floor of the Georgian building, the Louis Vuitton store dedicates its focus to a finely curated edit of directional pieces from Nicolas Ghesquière’s much-hyped Women’s Ready to Wear AW14 Louis Vuitton debut. Appealing to the ‘collective unconscious’ the collection features timeless perennial pieces that we delight in wearing time and time again. Ghesquière introduced us to Vuitton’s new guise, one fuelled by dark suede’s, caramel nudes, leather and lashings of PVC. Fortunately for you he Dover Street Market fixture does not cease with clothing, key runway accessories will also be featured, including leather goods, fashion jewellery, sunglasses and shoes.

The DSM London showcase will also be replicated in both New York and Tokyo and whilst the space will be occupied until October 14th, Louis Vuitton will also take over the DSM London corner window with an exclusive creative concept which will cover the SS15 London Fashion Week period.
