River Island present top tailoring and desirable designs with their AW14 Holloway Road Collection

River Island’s AW14 Holloway Road Collection offers restructured cable knits and immaculately tailored granddad shirts, a nod towards the brands rich history in heritage menswear.

Building on the past, this season features a variety of traditional looks and designs such as tweed and tartan given contemporary cuts and teamed with more relaxed pieces such as zip-up hoodies. The aim of this is to attract the modern man and his desire for the classic while still being able to offer something fresh and current.

Offering a youthful vibrancy, the collection succeeds in still remaining true to the brands ethos, reflected by Holloway Road designer Melanie Szmolenski who says: “The AW14 collection is more refined, with cleaner fabrications and a strong considered direction. Our attention is focused on sourcing premium fabrics and developing the perfect new shapes.”
