Brighton Li-Fi art-rockers Phantom Runners, cover Womack & Womack’s 1988 hit ‘Teardrops’ exclusively for Wonderland.
Phantom Runners, the 4-piece feel good, art-rock quartet formed in the creative hub that is Brighton, returned with new music for your listening pleasure this week when they premiered their latest offering ‘On The Run’.
After working closely with Multi Platinum Selling, Fun Lovin’ Criminal: Huey Morgan, and recording the trio of tracks from their forthcoming EP in London’s Dean St Studios, the boys have perfectly encapsulated the Indie / Surf-Pop / Art-Rock genres and this EP is the perfect progression from their set-up track ‘Chasing The Feeling’ which was released earlier this year.
We spent the afternoon with the boys for a special performance of ‘Teardrops‘, originally by Womack & Womack.
