Opening Ceremony and Adidas Originals have joined forces to create a most covetable footwear collection

This week we have been treated to a preview of the new Opening Ceremony x Adidas Originals footwear collection for AW14. Never failing to push the boundaries of this lucrative relationship, Opening Ceremony have chosen two shapes for the collection, each with a choice of three colourways. The classic Stan Smith sneaker, which has had somewhat of a resurgence of late, will come in a cream/grey ‘zebra’ print, all-black hair-on leather, and a geometric and palm print, for a twist on the old favorite.

Also featuring in the collection is a more futuristic high bootie shape that suits the Opening Ceremony brand perfectly. With neoprene, leather and suede paneling and a continuation of the ‘zebra’ print, they are definitely eye-catching. Unfortunately you won’t be able to get your mitts on the collection until later this year, but it will be stocked in Opening Ceremony and Adidas stores. We expect a sell-out.
