Art rock quartet The Darcys release critically acclaimed album Warring and we’re delighted to premiere it’s accompanying short film.

Signed to Canada’s premiere independent label, The Darcys are comprised of Jason Couse [vocals, guitar, keys], Wes Marksell [drums], Michael le Riche [guitar, synth, vocals] and Dave Hurlow [bass]. Their melodic creations can only be described as elegantly epic whilst recent comparsions to Local Natives and Atoms For Peace are more than worthy.

New album ‘Warring’ was produced by Tom Mcfall [Stars, Bloc Party] and mixed by Dave Schiffman [Rage Against The Machine, System Of The Down]. The album was written over three years and recorded in Toronto during the final six months of 2012 with a focus on sonic detail inspired by studio opuses of the 1970s. The band have created a short film to accompany the UK release and we’re delighted to be giving you a first look.
