Wonderland.

PREMIERE: ALX – “BEAUTIFUL CRIMINAL”

We premiere the debut video from the enigma that we simply know as ALX

There is very little known about ALX. He’s 22 years of age, he’s Scottish and he’s a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter.

The mystery cloaking this audio curator is currently more than half of his appeal.

He writes songs about unrequited love that are executed beautifully via his slow-burning, emotionally charged odes. Such songs have drawn him quick comparisons to the husky voiced Wonderland muse George Ezra or the modernity of Sam Smith. The industry is currently awash with middle-class pretty boys wielding acoustic guitars but ALX is not one to give too much away too soon. Opting to blur-tool out any sign of identity on his artwork and a conscious move to allow the substance to outweigh the style, his raw, enthralling vocal has already secured plays on Radio 1 and BBC’s Introducing slots which is a noble feat for a developing artist so we’re setting our sights on him becoming another modern great.
