Humberto Leon and Carol Lim took AW14 as their opportunity to explore an altered perspective with inspiration from America’s northwest, focusing on braking and reinterpreting classic elements. With a considered mix of texture, proportion and shapes, the latest collection is bold and precise.
The palette of browns and greys are brought to life with shocking injections of bold orchid and neon lime, with prints inspired by American landscapes, factory workers tools and x-ray checks, all over a fragmented layered silhouette of tailoring, knitwear and pea coats. Hooded sweatshirts and quilted bombers added a cool street edge worn over tailored trousers.
Industrial, steelworker-inspired accessories complement the collection including messenger bags and safety boots.
